Medical facilities at district level growing rapidly. Challenges are many to face, Fast Growing Population, Changing Environment, Economically backwardness are the threats to health related issues of common citizen. Government is struggling to provide best infrastructure upto district level.
Chief Medical and Health Officer is the District Head of Medical department.
Medical services are available free or at very low cost in the government medical centres.
District is having a District Hospital with Trauma Centre, A Medical College with 400 Beds, Several PHCs, CHCs and SHCs.
Allopathy is the modern branch of Medical Science, whereas Aurveda is ancient stream of Medical Science. Homiopathy is another approach to cure diseases.
Ayush Officer is looking after Homiopathy and Ayurveda.
